I wish I could say I had a mentor, but I really don't have one hustle hero in particular. I've always looked up to my parents, but I also have a huge respect for my friends and the women I'm surrounded by. All of my friends are hustlers in different ways, and it's really nice to see them achieve their goals.
I get a lot of my materials online and from Michaels.
Of course my family is my number one source of support, but organizations like the Onondaga Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Women's Opportunity Center downtown have been a wonderful support to my business.
Any small business event — whether it's a small craft show or a festival or fair. It's always a great opportunity to see what other people are doing.
